Rules Published Under Provisions of Right To Information Act 2005 (Act)

a) A request for obtaining information u/s 6(1) of the Act shall be accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 10/- by way of cash against proper receipt or by Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque payable to the Accounts Officer of the public authority.

b) For providing information u/s 7(1) of the act, the fee shall be charged, by way of cash against proper receipt or by Demand Draft or Bankers cheque payable to the Accounts Officer of the public authority, at the following rates:

  • (i) Rupees two (2) for each page (in A-4 or A-3 size paper) created or copied.
  • (ii) Actual charge or cost price of a copy in larger size paper;
  • (iii) Actual cost or price for samples or models; and
  • (iv) For inspection of records, no fee for the first hour; and fee of rupees five for each fifteen minutes (or fraction thereof) thereafter.
  • c) For providing information u/s 7(5) of the Act, (viz. to provide information in printed or in any electronic format) fee shall be charged, by way of cash against proper receipt or by Demand Draft or Bankers cheques payable to the Accounts Officer of the Public Authority, at the following rates:

  • (v) For information provided in diskette or floppy, rupees fifty per diskette or floppy and
  • (vi) For information provided in printed form at the price fixed for such publication or rupees two per page of photocopy for extracts from the publication.
  • Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) & Appellate Authority at various levels
  • A. CPIO in the matter of Branches: Branch Manager of concerned Branch.
  • B. CPIO in the matter of Regional Offices: Officer next to Regional Manager of concerned Regional Office.
  • C. CPIO in the matter of Head Offices: Sr. Manager of concerned department in Head Office.
  • D. Appellate Authority in the matter of Regional Offices & Branches: Regional Manager of concerned Regional Office.
  • E. Appellate Authority in the matter of Head Offices: Chief Manager at Head Office.
  • F. Nodal Officer in the matter of whole Bank: General Manager at Head Office.
